Perspective Views

Plans and descriptions can often not be enough to help you get a good impression of what the house will actually look like, here are some drawings and photographs that will hopefully help you get a better idea of what the house should look like when it is finished.
View Toward Entry
The approach to the house will be a slightly winding drive, about 800 feet long. By the time the house finally comes into view, this is approximately the position you will be in. You will be appoaching the circular drive that will bring you around to the main entryway which is flanked on either side by two turrets. Access to the garage will be off of the circular drive, but hidden from view at this point by a low wall that extends from that wing.

View Toward Formal Garden
From the back of the house, there are two distinct outdoor spaces that are formed by the formal wing of the house which extends out the back. In this view, you are looking toward the house across the formal garden area. On the left is the glass enclosed conservatory, which is on the end of the formal wing. On the right is the private wing of the house, which has the offices, master suite, and exersice room. In the middle of the view, you are looking at the back side of the stair tower, which has a covered outdoor patio that wraps around it for all year use.
In this photograph of the architectural model, you can see how the roofline of the East Wing (on the right) has evolved, as well as the covered patio that now encloses the back section of the stair tower. All of this has come together well to provide what promises to be a great outdoor space that can be used in any weather.

View Toward Kitchen Garden
On this view, you are looing toward the house across the kitchen garden area. On the right is the formal wing of the house, which from this side you can see the small patios off of the guest rooms. On the left, you see the dog run, which is attached to the garage. In the center of the view is the kitchen and family room. There is a small uncovered patio that opens off of the family room to allow easy egress to the outside.
